Firefighters Endorse Brown in 73rd Contest

Firefighters IAFF Local 2665 and the Missouri State Council of Firefighters have announced that they are endorsing Steve Brown for state representative in the 73rd District.
That contest is a particularly spirited one. Also running is Stacey Newman and Gina Mitten.
The latest campaign reports showed Brown to have $74,577.21 in the bank, compared to $26,288.55 for Newman and $3,920.34 for Mitten.
In a statement, the firefighters’ groups “cited Steve’s ability and commitment to help meet the growing demands on first responders as their key reason for supporting his candidacy.
“With strong leaders like Steve Brown in Jefferson City fighting to ensure that Missouri’s first responders have the tools necessary to protect our communities, I am confident that our members will be able to exceed the expectations of Missouri’s citizens,” said Kurt Becker, 4th District Vice President of Local 2665.
