Statement from former State Treasurer Nancy Farmer regarding Steve Brown, Democratic candidate for State Representative in the 73 rd District:

I am proud to announce my support and endorsement of Steve Brown for State Representative of the 73rd District.  Steve will be a tireless representative for all of the people in the district and his constituents will have no better advocate in the State Capitol.

Steve has already proven himself as a trustworthy public servant, serving as an assistant attorney general.  He also has a respected history as a community activist, promoting Democratic ideals and candidates at the local, state, and federal levels.

Like so many other women in Missouri politics, I have known Steve for years and greatly benefited from his family’s dedication to seeing good Democrats get elected.  In fact, Steve’s aunt, Sue Shear, was a mentor and encouraged me to run in my first election for State Representative.  I am delighted to have the opportunity to announce my endorsement of Steve Brown, so that he may continue his family’s tradition of service to the people of Missouri.
